Anna is a fractional merchandising leader and advisor with over 20 years' experience across high street, luxury, e-commerce and wholesale.

She works with retail and product businesses to bring clarity, structure and direction to merchandising and trading, driving stronger commercial performance and sustainable growth.

Having built her career within leading retail brands including Matalan, Jaeger and PrettyLittleThing, Anna brings a deep understanding of how to translate strategy into execution. Her work focuses on strengthening planning, improving stock and margin performance, and building team capability as businesses scale.

Clients typically engage Anna when performance lacks clarity, strategy isn't translating into action, or they are navigating growth, change or transformation. She works collaboratively and with integrity, acting as a trusted sounding board while delivering practical, commercially focused outcomes.

Working in a flexible, fractional capacity, Anna partners with founders and leadership teams to provide oversight, structure and hands-on support. Her approach is pragmatic and collaborative, ensuring strategy is embedded and results are delivered while maintaining momentum in day-to-day operations.

Alongside her consultancy, Anna co-founded The Merchandising School with fellow consultant Sarah Johnson, delivering practical, high-quality training to help retail businesses build merchandising capability and scale with confidence.
